Alivia’s has been the proud host of local storytelling phenom The Monti since 2008 and we’re thrilled that we’ll be continuing that role for the upcomind Monti season as well!

If you’ve never been to The Monti, you really should come. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be astounded at the stories you’ll hear - everything from deep, dark family secrets revealed to college hijinks. It’s really one of the area’s best events. For those of you unfamiliar with The Monti - there are 2 Monti events: The Monti, which is more of a curated show, and The Monti StorySLAM, where 10 storytellers are chosen at random and have 5 minutes to tell a tale. Judges decide on a winner, who is entered in the yearly GrandSLAM event.
